This is Hollywood North Sound Institute, based in the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver. For decades, the global media and entertainment industry has found a home here thanks to favorable regulatory conditions, ample access to talent, proximity to the United States, and diverse landscapes. HNS Institute leverages top instructors from the world’s best schools and industry centers by bringing them into regions where top-tier sound education doesn’t yet exist. With a strategic vision to bring sound engineering education to key regions considered important to a rising global sound scene, HNS aims to fill this gap and cultivate high-quality talent where they are most needed, while providing passionate and talented students access to careers in sound.

Sound engineering is a complex field that requires well structured and methodical education. We’ve designed a program structure that allows students to learn the basics and gain an understanding of their preferred specialization in the field before choosing a specific course specialization track. Students will embark on a journey that will begin with online education that involves learning essential softwares and may end in studio, training on real artists.

Parisa’s musical journey began at the age of five in the Music for Young Children program. Guided by her passion, she continued her classical piano studies with the Royal Conservatory of Music throughout her childhood and later earned a degree from Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, she immersed herself in music from every era and genre, learning from and collaborating with musicians from around the world. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Music Production and Engineering and Minoring in Audio Post-Production.

It was at Berklee that Parisa discovered her love for audio post-production. She saw films in a whole new light, learning how audio is an integral part of the storytelling process. Far beyond a talent, music has been the heartbeat of Parisa's personal and professional life. This passion set her on a path that led her to Los Angeles after graduation, where she worked in the heart of the music and entertainment industries. She had the opportunity to work on chart topping podcasts and music releases, with some of her favorite artists in world renowned studios. Today, she shares that gift with her students, striving to inspire them with the same joy and transformative power that music has brought to her life.
